As I sit here and evaluate my life, I realise that everything that happened in the past happened for a reason!
I’m not going to, and probably never will go into what has happened in the past but I realise it’s shaped me, made me the person I am today, which I’m quite happy with.
I’m not selfish, I’m not horrible and I do care about people and their feelings. I can be childish at times but who can’t?
Anyway, I’m working, I’m moving into my own flat in the next few weeks with my beautiful fiancée and generally, life is looking up!
I’m proud of the person I am today, I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far and I’m proud to say I shall continue to achieve.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
I found the above quote on the internet and it just jumped at me and is definitely something I can relate to.
Basically, you can take over your own life or allow life to take over you. I know which I’d choose…
Anyway, I best introduce myself a little!
I’m Danny, I’m 22 and I work in the Automatic door industry in Manchester. I enjoy the usual things.. Socialising (especially in the pub…), Football (watching! Not playing… I’m too unfit! Haha), I’m not gonna list everything I’ll be here too long!
I have 1 brother and 1 sister who I don’t get to see much of due to needing to take my own time away and grow up a little into adult life!!
I don’t get on at all with my dad!! And to be honest, I’ve stopped letting that get me down, it’s caused me to do many a silly thing! Including pushing friends away and being generally a bit of a tw*t…
I have a mother too.. Who I do speak to every now and again.
But yes! That’s in the past now! Life is on the correct track!
Honestly, this is probably cheesy but I don’t really care! I’ve met the love of my life, at 22!. Many people would suggest that the idea of meeting someone you know you want to spend your life with at this young age… However, those people are the people who can’t open up and realise there’s more to the world that what’s under your little rock!
Anyway, back to Rebecca! This girl has changed my life so dramatically and I am so grateful for every second I get to spend with her! She’s kept me strong when I was weak and she’s kept me going through tough times! Words can’t express truly how much I love this girl! She’s introduced me to a completely different way of living life, a happier way and a brighter way. We are currently waiting for the keys to our first flat and first home together! I can’t wait.
I love you
Ginge, Becca ❤️
Anyway, peace out!
